What to Prepare for Your Vehicle Graphics Project
Vehicle branding brings your business identity onto a different kind of surface. A car, van, or truck has its own shape and details, so the artwork needs to be planned around the actual vehicle. A little preparation helps you explain what you want the finished graphics to communicate.

Start with the actual vehicle
Share the vehicle’s make, model, and year, along with clear photos of the sides and rear. Include details about existing graphics or the surfaces you want to use. Doors, windows, handles, and other features all help describe the area available for the design.
For more than one vehicle, make a list of the different models. A fleet can share a visual identity while each layout responds to the size and shape of its own vehicle.
Choose the information that matters most
Begin with your business name, main service, and the contact information you want people to remember. Send your current logo and brand colors so the graphics can connect with the rest of your business identity.
If you have several messages, put them in order of importance. That gives the design discussion a clear starting point and helps you decide what belongs on the vehicle.
Discuss the amount of coverage
Full wraps, partial wraps, and focused logos or lettering offer different ways to bring a brand onto a vehicle. You can begin the conversation with the appearance you want and the information you need to show, without deciding every detail first.
Reference photos can help explain your preferences. Let us know what you like about each example, whether it is the layout, the use of color, or the balance between graphics and the vehicle’s existing appearance.
Bring the working schedule into the conversation
Tell us when the vehicle is available and whether it is part of a larger rollout. For a fleet, discuss which vehicles come first and how future additions should relate to the initial design.
Keeping the approved artwork and core brand choices together gives later vehicles a useful reference. Share any existing fleet graphics you want to match when you first discuss the project.
